Instructor’s Short Bio

Dr. Muhanna is currently an Assistant Professor at Luminus Technical University and has more than 9 years of experience working specifically in the field of UI/UX Design. He has been working as a UX consultant and trainer for several organizations including USAID, Shred-it, Hope Holdings, University of Nevada, Reno, United Nations Development Program, TechTribes, Ana-Digital, Solid Soft, Goharz, Bayt.com, and more.

Dr. Muhanna has conducted over 18 courses and workshops in UX and Interaction design with over 150 participants. He was the Assistant to the President at Princess Sumaya University for Technology. Moreover, Dr. Muhanna received his PhD in Human-Computer Interaction from the University of Nevada, Reno. He has published and presented a total of 15 articles in interaction design and software engineering at prestigious journals and conferences in Cyprus, Spain, Italy, Greece, China, USA, France, and Egypt. He has been an invited speaker in the field of UX at public events, such as Adobe Inspire ME 2015-2016.

COURSE OVERVIEW:

The syllabus of this course has been carefully designed to cover the fundamental topics of user experience (UX) design. It has been compiled and customized to prepare participants for the BCS User Experience Foundation Certificate. The workshop is designed for anyone involved in the design and evaluation of user interfaces and experiences. The workshop is covered on a course of ten days including eight hands-on exercises.
